About our Squadron

We are the Youngstown ARS Composite Squadron, GLR-OH-051. This is a local unit of the Civil Air Patrol, Ohio Wing. Our Adult and Cadet members carry out all three of Civil Air Patrol's congressionally chartered missions: Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs, and Emergency Services. Based at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station, we have been serving the Mahoning Valley for over 50 years. Our unit vision: "Building Tomorrow's Leaders...Fulfilling Today's Missions"

Our unit motto: "Learn, Lead, Serve"

We meet on the following time and location rotation:

• First Monday of the month from 1830-2100 (6:30pm-9:00pm) at the Base Gym and then Building 201 on the Youngstown Air Reserve Station. Please consult the squadron calendar.
• All other Mondays from 1830-2100 (6:30pm-9:00pm) at Building 201 on the Youngstown Air Reserve Station.
